Wellbeing Natural Health

Cristin is the owner of Wellbeing and a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) in the state of North Carolina. She is board certified by the NCCAOM in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and she has a four-year Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the prestigious and accredited National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. In Portland, she completed an internship that focused on complementary cancer therapy, the treatment of addiction, and on women’s health concerns.

Cristin is currently seeing patients at Wellbeing Natural Health in Cornelius, NC and at The Art of Living Center in Charlotte, NC. Cristin combines Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Medical Qi Gong, Shiatsu Massage, natural supplements, aromatherapy, and dietary counseling to offer her patients a holistic treatment that addresses the physical, spiritual, and environmental causes of illness. Cristin encourages her patients to participate in their own healing process and to work with her as a team to find their most optimal treatment strategy.

Outside of work Cristin enjoys taking her dog Kelsey to the local dog parks, participating in her book club, and cooking and learning how to prepare different foods from around the world. She is an avid swimmer, Qi Gong junkie, and wannabe potter. Before entering school for Chinese medicine Cristin received a BA in French and Anthropology from Alfred University. She spent four months studying the mortuary rituals of the Merina tribe of Madagascar and continues to relish the study of different cultures and religions.
